Duncan Steel

Duncan Steel (1955- ) is a British-born space scientist currently resident in New Zealand, and author of a paper suggesting that near-Earth object 1991 VG be considered a candidate extraterrestrial probe. He holds visiting positions as Professor of Astrobiology at the University of Buckingham in England; as a Space Scientist at NASA-Ames Research Center in California; and as an Astronomer at Armagh Observatory in Northern Ireland. He is also the author of four popular-level science books on space.[1]
